She is a palestinian poet from Nazareth in Israel. She was born on the 29th of September 1960. Received B.A. in English and Comparative Literature from Haifa University. Currently she works as high school teacher for English in Nazareth. Published so far five books of poetry in Arabic : "Revolution Against Silence" (1994), "Mirrors Of Illusion" (1998), " A Diary Of A Gypsy Lover"(2000), " Who Doesn't Know Rita?!"(2003), " One Tear Before Getting Suffocated"(2005). In 2006, she became the first WHA member from Israel. She writes short stories, and has a collection which will be published soon.
