placid sunbathers
on the beach
my thoughts swift as a swallow
reunion
—old friends—
new aches and pains
pulpit thundering
Sunday
television menu
little flower
bug ekes out
life's necessities
on separate journeys
mother and daughter
staying close
Sonoran Desert
my words dry up
before I begin
