summer garden
silver gazing ball
flash of a cardinal
fighting kites
battle wind
double jeopardy
snowdrifts rest
on frozen lake
white swans
wind rifles
sasanquas
the shiver of leaves
turning the page
as I read
sound of his voice
weathered fence rail
two blue jays
then none
