rounding one switchback
rounding another
wren trill
again the finch's warble
these woods are rich
with purple iris
the single rivulet
how slowly a pond
lets go
cabbage butterflies
sometimes I just watch
their whiteness
summer solstice
the heron turns away
from his shadow
rhythm of the stream
retracing my path
in darkness
moonrise
night swells the sound
of the creek
whitewater
it took the moonlight
to show me
