He was born in Tokyo, Japan, 1950, resides
in the same capital. Graduated from Department
of Political Sceince & Economics, Waseda
University. Researcher of contemporary manga
history. In 1977 began to contribute haiku
to "Mugi", in 1999 won Mugi Haiku
Poet Prize, currently regular contributor
to "Ginyu". Japanese publication:
A Child of the Lending Library Fascinated
by Manga (1999), his haiku collection: Karera
(They, 2003). Co-authored Contemporary Haiku
and the 21st Century (1995), Haiku Troubadours
2000 (2000), World Haiku 2005 (2004), etc.
He edited many Japanese books.
